‘Circe’s Chords’ by the Chachy Peñalver Company was an absolute treat! An evening of high quality contemporary, original flamenco music and dance by an all Australian cast. Chachy gathered four seasoned musicians and her young trio of dynamic dancers to weave a spell binding 75 minute performance. Chachy’s lyrical and powerful solos were the stand out for me, along with the emotional singing of Zoe Vélez, a cantaora who has really come into her own these past few years. A true joy to witness”
